Today, One Day At a Time.

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.
The past was yesterday. Now is Today. The future is tomorrow.
Yesterday you were born. Today you lived. Tomorrow you may die.
Today you were born. Today you live. Today you may die.
Will Today be a good day? Or will Today be a bad day.
Will Today be a good day? Or, will Today be a bad day?
Yesterday is gone forever and only memories remain.
Tomorrow is yet to come.
I cast the blanket aside, climb out of bed and slowly I walk to the bathroom.
I shave, brush my teeth, comb my hair and I wonder.
Will Today be a good day? Or will Today be a bad day? Or will Today be my last day?
I've had many good and bad days in the past, and I pray that Today will be a good day.
Soon I am dressed and I tip-toe out not to awaken my wife, and at 5:55 AM I drive to my company, picking up a newspaper on the way, and 20 minutes later I turn off the central alarm and enter the company.
I walk to the main panel and turn on all the lights. Pending season I turn on the heat or air-conditioning and within seconds the whole interior of the building is lit up.
My employees will start arriving by 6:45, and on my way to my office I stop in the lunchroom and the coffeepot soon starts to perk, the aroma filling the air.
I sit down by my computer and soon the screen is filled with messages, both good and bad. Junk mail. Request for quotes. Purchase orders. Compliments and complains, a mixture of good and bad.
7:00 O'clock I hear the hum of the machinery from the shop, and slowly the company comes alive, and I wonder, will Today be a good day? Or will Today be a bad day?
The past was yesterday. Now is today. The future is tomorrow.
Remember the good and the bad from yesterday , and Today will be a good day.
Yesterday, Today, and tomorrow will soon be in the past.
Remember Today will be a good day because the bad of yesterday gone by.
Will I be part of tomorrow? Will I awaken to a new dawn and go through the routine of Today?
I do not know. Only God knows.
And so I pray: Bless me and my fellow man and make Today a good day for us all.

Hello, Olof. You have written a wonderful article, so I would say that that day was a GOOD day. I'm reading it now, so that would make today a GOOD day. Well put Olof,I have a saying that, "yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift and that is why it is called a gift." I don't think that anyone knows what tomorrow will bring so I find it important to live one day at a time. Thanks for a great article. By the way, if I died tomorrow, I know where I will go and that is wonderful and more then I could imagine.God bless you always my friend,
