What Will the New Year 2009 Bring Me?

Today is December 30th and the new year, 2009, is looming ahead.
And I ask again. What will the new year bring me.
Will it continue to bring me good health and fortunes, and what will the new year bring others, especially the poor and not as fortunate as I am.
Will I live trough 2009 and see the new year 2010 enter? Only God knows.
I also have one brother here in USA who brought me here from Sweden in 1956.
Today he is severly crippled and moves around in a wheelchair.
What is in store for my family and me?
I have been sick also in the past, five weeks in a coma, but a power I do not understand healed me. That was 30 years ago and I ask myself.
Will I continue to be healthy?
Will my company continue to grow and to prosper?
I sinserely pray that it will. Not for my sake, but for my employees sake, and theire families who depend upon me providing them a paycheck and security.
They, my employees, made me. I did not make them and the reward of my labor is due to them.
And so I bow my head and pray that all good things will continue to come my way.
And to all others, friends and foes alike.
May we all have learned from the past, and apply it to the future.
And to you, our new president to be.
May you be guided by a power from above that I do not understand.

But what is important is that you have done and are still doing so much for others and the powers above can see how much you are needed here on earth and I wish you and your family a healthy and successful year ahead and beyond. It is important to look after yourself so you can continue your great work for your family and yourself and all the families that rely on your strength of character to see them through another year and beyond of employment.God Bless you Olof. Please keep writing.Elfreda

Hello, Olof, dear sweet friend. I am so glad to see you writing again. I hope you have been well. Sorry to hear about your brothers--my prayers will be with them and with you. Not many employers care as much as you about the needs of their employees. You are a great man.May the New Year bring all that you pray for and the very best to you and yours.Sandra
Olof,I left because I was suffering from some depression and had to take a holiday. So I closed down all my past and needed to disappear. I'm letting you know because you asked and I didn't reply. I hope all is well for you. I come back to searchWarp because I missed being in our community of writers and when I am feeling myself again I will write a decent article on music, but not yet, maybe in a month or two. So where are your articles? Write one to brighten up my day. In June I have Norwegian relatives coming to visit from Bergen. I am going to order another of your books as a present for them. My brother enjoyed your book. Looking forward to reading some more of your articles. Thanks for caring when I left searchWarp.Elfreda
Dear Elfreda,Sorry to hear that you are under the weather, but like always the Sun will come out again from behind the cloudes and shine upon you.Talk about depression! I had a bout with that myself resently, and my son got so scarred he called the local police who sent a swat team at me, and I spent two days in a medical facilities.Simply stated. I am not allowed to be me, and if I do not smile at my family; something is wrong. And so it is. I have a second book at my publisher, but they are giving me a hard time messing it up and it is now 6 months behind schedule..And now I have to go back to work, planning my move into a new 25,000 Square foot building costing me $4,000,000 - a piece of cake! That is all for now.Stay in touch. With lots of love and hugs,Olle
Thank you Olle,You have cheered me up no end. I'm sorry though that you have also been at a low point. I hope you feel Ok now too. I am very excited about your new book. I do hope the publishers get cracking and get it into print before Christmas so I can order it for myself and the family. Do let me know when it is available.I look forward to another of your articles or even a poem in the not too distant future. What a lot you have too pay for your new building, I hope that it doesn't cause you too much worry. You have achieved such amazing things in your life. You are a real inspiration.Well take care and thanks for bringing so much sunshine into my life.Elfreda
Hi Olle,How is my dear friend doing? Let me know how you are and lets have some more to read while I'm on holiday and have time.ElfredaHello,Thanks for the note. It's been a long time since I have heard from England, but better that then none. All is well except I rejected the building I was hoping to purchase and move my company into, or it is like this. The seller had cannibalized the interior so bad that it would cost me approx. $300,000 to get it back on line, and so I backed out.In its place I am now on line to buy 4 industrial acres and if all goes well I hope to move into it in about 2-3 years. That aside, how are you doing and are you still keeping tab on Norway? Also, recall all the trouble I had with the publishing of my second book?Well, its all over for now and in another 3-4 weeks the book, "CONSTITUTION" -- ALL SAILS UP AND FLYING- should be in Barnes and Noble and Amazon. And so much for that.Be well and God Bless,Olle
Hi Olle,It's so good to hear from you. I'm pleased all is well. I think the way you handle your business is fantastic, you are so knowledgeable. You are a complete inspiration to me. Can't wait to order your next book. Thank goodness it is proceeding without any hitches. My son has just got an American passport as well as an English one and he has been learning all about the American constitution. He is on a yacht masters sailing course for six weeks (I'm trying to bring the Viking spirit out in him!) and my daughter is in Paris busking on her cello and finding the odd professional job. I am working on a Bach Chorale guide for music students and hope to use the publishing companies,"Dummies series" they are very popular in the UK.Anyway, all is fine here. Really lovely to hear from you and look forward to reading your 2nd book soon. Many blessings to you and your family.Elfreda
